Rethinking Legacy

9am–10:30am THE COMPANY CAFE

The Company Café is an open forum for friendly, candid discussion on issues of importance to the group. Presenters introduce themselves and offer brief stories of high performers who are asking—and answering—life's key questions. Who am I? How will I be remembered? Presenters and guests enter into a dialogue about workplace challenges that compel senior executives to redefine personal and company purpose. Where do high performance and meaning meet in the workplace? How do leaders foster such productive interplay? What did a Fortune 100 CEO mean when he said, "The past 20 years were determined by technology, but the next 20 will be determined by consciousness"? Radhanath Swami will describe interactions with business people under his care and how millennial wisdom has begun influencing top decision-makers.

10:30-11am YOGA FOR EXECUTIVES

Belize-born yoga master Yogi Charu is a gentle, intuitive, and revered teacher who has mentored distinguished leaders in business and entertainment. Charu will lead the group in practices (breathing and stretching, which require no change of wardrobe) that refresh attitude, thinking, and spirits. Discover simple techniques that invigorate and stimulate untapped creative energies.

11-12:30 BREAK-OUTS

Guests split into two smaller groups to encourage personal interaction. Elsie's breakout will explore how social and human values underlie Legacy Thinking and drive high performance within leading companies. Joshua's breakout will examine "Flow: Where Work Life and Life's Work Meet."

12:30-1:30 LUNCH

Guests will enjoy a buffet lunch and interact with fellow attendees. The lunchtime talk will be given by TEDx presenter Ram Subramanian, formerly an investment banker with Bank of America and currently a monk living in New York.

1:30-3pm RADHANATH ROUND-TABLE

An American-born Swami, Radhanath uses personal storytelling to migrate perennial wisdom into practical terms for contemporary workplace application. It is a skill that has earned him respect among many of the Forbes 100 wealthiest individuals. He pursues a full speaking schedule in the U.S., U.K. and India. Current venues include the Milken Institute Global Conference, Harvard Business School Young Presidents' Association, Apple Computer, Intel and Oracle.

3-3:30pm YOGA

The second session will feature further exercises that can be done whenever and wherever at work. Guests will have the option of a health walk through beautiful Old Westbury Gardens or down-time in one of the retreat's many private rooms.

3:30-5pm ELSIE EXERCISES

Elsie leads participants to interpret their underlying spiritual and social values into a suite of operating practices and key performance indicators for their own business—the "Monday morning kick-off" for your legacy plan.

5-5:30pm CLOSING REMARKS

followed by an Open Salon for those who wish to continue the discussion.
