RADHANATH SWAMI
In 1970 Radhanath Swami left Chicago for India where he spent years communing with holy men and women including the Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa. Eventually he became a teacher in his own right, built communities, and developed hospitals, eco-friendly farms, schools, and one of the world's largest food distribution programs. "He sees life as a continuous blessing of God's grace," one follower says, "and yet he never loses his humanness. His accessibility inspires others with hope that they too can find inner peace and God realization."
